Hebrews 10:23 ‘Let us hold fast the confession/profession of our hope/faith without wavering, for He who promised is faithful’ (NKJ).

NLT Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise (NLT).

3. those who lack sufficient concern about the deadly reality of sin and its consequences.

Question: How can we measure our faithfulness to our ‘faith?’

Galatians 5:16-23

Extreme: Revelation 2:10 “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. (Rev 2:10 NKJ)

We say that ‘The Bile is our only rule for faith and practice.’

Hebrews 3:5

Hebrews 3:5 ‘And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward’, (NKJ)

Hebrews 3:5 ‘Moses was certainly faithful in God’s house as a servant. His work was an illustration of the truths God would reveal later’. (NLT)

Moses an ‘attendant’ to ‘discharge the duties committed to him by God’.

Luke 12:42-44 ‘And the Lord replied, (to the question of His return)

“A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them. 43 If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward. 44 I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all he owns. (Luk 12:42 NLT)
